26 Promotions – Lima, OH – (May 29, 2019) – Nelson Webster held off a charging Cody Batten in the final laps to earn his fourth NORA feature win of the year.

Webster grabbed the lead on lap 11 from Allan Takken after Takken made contact with the wall. Webster would hold off challenges from Takken, Batten, and Coy Pennington over the next 50 laps.

It was Batten who presented the biggest threat to Webster in the closing laps, Webster moved to the bottom as Batten continued to rail the top. Batten closed in quickly during the final laps but a caution with two laps gave Webster the break he needed as he was in conserve mode to leave Limaland with the victory.

Batten and Austen Semmelmann completed the podium. Tyler Chalk from 18th crossed the line fourth with pole sitter Coy Pennington rounding out the top-five.

Batten netted his fourth quick time award with a fast lap of 12.510. Nelson Webster and Coy Pennington scored their fifth heat race wins of the year with Allan Takken claiming his first.

The NORA Dirt Series is back in action on Tuesday night with the Modifieds at Lanier National Speedway.
