26 Promotions – Queen Creek, AZ – (August 21, 2018) – After a short two-week break TJ Wyman was back in action Saturday with the IMCA Northern Sport Mods at Arizona Speedway.

“Our goal heading into this weekend was to get a top five, and that just didn’t work out for us,” explained Wyman. “We went out for hot laps, and the car didn’t run that bad with the motor getting a little hot. We went out for our heat, and the temperature continued to climb.”

Starting and finishing sixth in his heat would line Wyman up eleventh to start the feature.

“After the heat race we did our best to cool down the motor,” he said. “We took off great on the start moving up to sixth in the first corner. Then our bad luck struck, and the motor started going away and losing power every lap. We were able to finish eleventh with the motor basically being blown up.”

The Wyman Racing team will have the weekend off as they get the car and motor ready for Labor Day weekend’s Hank Arnold Memorial at Central Arizona Speedway on September 1st and 2nd.

TJ Wyman would like to thank Tommy’s Garage, Fuga Energy, Industrial Machinery Services, AZ Tubes and Hoses, Dirt Worx Contracting, Silbercom Trucking, the Play for Gold Foundation, the Hands for the Future Foundation, Sutton Signs, Competition Power Sports and Powder Coating, Speedway Lettering, and his mom, dad, brother and sister for their continued support.
