26 Promotions – Milan, NM – (August 6, 2018) – Uranium Capitol Speedway is ready for this weekend’s big money show featuring the X-Mods, Cruisers and Street Stocks at the three-eighths-mile oval.
30 X-Mods are expected to battle for the $1,250 grand prize this weekend. This is a non-sanctioned event, and they will allow any IMCA Sport Mods to compete. IMCA Sport Mods must be IMCA legal and will be teched under IMCA rules.
Ariel Bonesteel headlines the expected 20-car field of Cruisers that will compete in the $1,000 to win feature event. Bonesteel currently leads the Cruiser division in points over Suezanna Bonesteel and Rick Boelter.
Rounding out the evening will be the Street Stock division. 2016 champion Jason Bodley leads the 15 to 20 cars that are expected at UCS this weekend. Bodley currently sits second in points behind Donny Carrie entering this weekend’s event.
Not only will there be big money on the line Saturday night but there will also be contingency prizes up for grabs including Afco Racing shocks, car and brake cleaner, motor parts, gas cans, and Cabello gift cars are among some of the top prizes.
Entry fee for drivers this weekend is $75, and that does include the driver’s pit pass, non-driver pit passes are $30. Any first-time drivers coming to UCS will be required to purchase a one-night membership for $10. Pit gates open at noon with grandstands at 5 PM. Driver’s Meeting is at 6 with mud packing following at 6:15, racing is expected to get underway at 7. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
