26 Promotions – Casa Grande, AZ – (July 18, 2018) – TJ “Hollywood” Wyman made his first appearance at Central Arizona Speedway’s fast three-eighths-mile dirt track at Saturday’s Summer Shootout.

“The car felt great in hot laps,” said Wyman. “But the motor started to get a little hot during the heat race.”

Hollywood grabbed one position in his heat, moving from seventh to sixth, which would line him up eleventh for the start of the IMCA Northern Sport Mod main event.

“My goal in the main was to run with some of the fast guys,” he explained. “I was kind of slow on the start so that I could see what the track was like. The car was flying as I got more comfortable. We were up to sixth or seventh with a couple of laps to go, but at the end, the motor went away.”

Wyman crossed the line eighth to secure his first top-ten finish at Central Arizona Speedway.

“The track was a blast to run and is one of my favorite tracks so far,” he said. “Overall, the weekend was a great experience for me, and hopefully we’ll get the motor fixed, so we can challenge for top fives.”

Wyman now has nine top-ten finishes in his rookie season. He is back in action on Saturday, July 28th with the IMCA Northern Sport Mods at Canyon Speedway Park.

TJ Wyman would like to thank Tommy’s Garage, Fuga Energy, Industrial Machinery Services, AZ Tubes and Hoses, Dirt Worx Contracting, Silbercom Trucking, the Play for Gold Foundation, the Hands for the Future Foundation, Sutton Signs, Competition Power Sports and Powder Coating, Speedway Lettering, and his mom, dad, brother and sister for their continued support.
