26 Promotions – Peoria, AZ – (March 6, 2018) – Paul Martin bolted on the wings for the first time since November on Saturday night at Canyon Speedway Park’s March Meltdown.
“We had a good run on Saturday night,” said Martin. “We won the heat from the pole and pulled the seven in the re-draw for our starting position in the main.”
Martin stayed patient throughout the event as he worked his way up to the front of the field by the late stages of the race.
“After applying a newly found setup from the Shootout, the car handled great,” Martin explained. “The track held up good, and I was able to avoid a few mishaps. I found myself in second on the last restart with about six to go and finished a strong second.”
Martin will have a few weeks off before returning to Canyon Speedway Park for the Easter Eggstravaganza on March 31st.
